From the corner of his eye Harry noticed a flash of movement to his left, the figure hurtling toward one of the stalls near him.

<It is indeed, old heavy grate>

Holding the grate like a shield in front of his face Harry takes a quick glance above the level of the stall to ensure that it isn't an innocent coming his way. He holds the grate in readiness, far enough away from his head to prevent a recoil impact on it hitting him.

Furtive almost panicked movements stilled and an ominous stillness settles over the market.
The scent of blood filled Harry's nostrils, a hunger rumbling in his belly.

The the market lit up, his arms recoiled as a loud screeching thud ended in a mess of shrapnel exploding off the grill, Harry felt slivers slip through the grill slits and into his flesh, pieces of metal peppered his legs as a gamma launched itself off the nearby stall but unfortunately mistiming their attack slams into the grill.

Lance skittered and slid across the detritus of the market floor, he felt the impending knife closing on him. He scrambled beneath the stalls, dodging kicks and shrieks, losing track of this pursuers he weaved until he caught sight of the purple fabric betraying the mediums tent.

Bolting from beneath the last stall he darted through the drapes his heart pounding within his chest, however his panic and fear quickly evaporated as he took in the inner sanctum.
The walls were adorned with elaborate wooden frames suspended from which were numerous timepieces, lanterns and clockwork figurines, each moved in their own orbits creating a bewildering phantasmagoria.

He slowly moved further into the tent, the suspended devices gave the inner sanctum of the tent the perception of being vastly greater inside than out.
Moving around the frames and drapes he arrived at another curtain, cautiously pulling it aside he started as he came face to face with a mannequin, he started again as it moved swiftly grabbing him by his collar and sprayed a cloud of gas into his face.

Immediately Lance’s vision swam, rough strong hands caught him as he fell and he blacked out.

From within the inner sanctum of the mediums tent, Madame Viskanna patted the hand of the slightly scruffy toff across the table from her, he nodded to her and left with his thanks.
She turned, removing the silk cover over a small green screen “Quickly” she hissed, watching the automaton lift the unconscious form up and step through a curtain.

Shortly afterward several small gammas bustled into the tents foyer, before long they tentatively pulled the curtain aside to her sanctum, all the while watched by her floating eyes.

Harry releases one hand from the grill. An audible crack is heard as his razor sharp claws retract. Swinging his hand down to the fallen form he attempts to gouge its eyes and dash the gamma's head against the stall table, whilst flinging the grill at the assailant with the projectile weapon.

Harry felt a slight tearing sensation as the filaments tore his legs as he shifted back up onto his feet, the closest Gamma staggered back from striking the grill. In a blur of sheer savagery Harry darted his arm forwards feeling the small humanoids eyeballs pop as his claws tore through into his skull, Harry's other arm swept around in an arc and sent the grill hurtling through the market.

His attention returned to his squealing captive sweeping him down and slamming his head into the cobbled floor, he squinted as a great dollop of gore and skull covered him, looking across the grill had demolished a stall, slammed into his snipers shoulder and thrown them across the far side of the market.

'To the death then, you fuckin' bastards!!' he roared as he fought to contain his blood lust, rage and indignation at the carnage they had started, and the inevitability of him taking them up on the offer.

Fight or flight? His instincts howled through the blood and pain.
Willpower of 5
His psyche shrugged as the beast leapt over the wrecked stall towards the downed sniper, leaving red ruin in his wake..

The red mist descended over Harry as he stood awaiting his enemy, the market had cleared of traders now.

Then filing in between the stalls the Kingdoms thugs came, all in all 20 of them, armed with cudgels, knives and makeshift firearms.

'Bloody hell!' A voice of reason echoed in his rage soaked mind. 'Snap out of it! There's no good to be had by dying today.. Even you don't have a chance here, there's always tomorrow, if you choose it. Now run!'

Harry suddenly broke to the right, vaulting the wreckage and charging for the wall.
The thugs seemed a little stunned faced with the monster who then vanishes before they break into a ruckus.

Harry however had by this stage reached the wall where he'd wrenched the grill free, he quickly swung his legs into the descending tunnel and let go, disappearing down into the depths.
