Mile Rock Point - San Francisco North Shoreline.
The two Garou and Mammoth Totem watched as the thread of golden fire undulated and whipped uncontrollably, to Saunder's mystic eyes he noted several falling stars fall from the cascade toward the earth.
"There" he pointed "We need to get to where they've fallen, can you tell Susan?"
Crick shrugged "Sure", he mumbled as he looked into a relective pool "For Gaias sake, yeah sure send the Bone Gnawer, they're good for running errands"
"Thank you Mr Crick" said Saunders wryly as Crick shimmered back to the physical world

Staring into his shard of glass the Gauntlet proven more of a struggle crossing back to Gaias Realm than leaving her, Crick had to push as if shouldering his way through thick foliage, as he appeared Susie and Shribei were talking to two other Garou.
One of the local Children of Gaia who helped the local Uktena to protect the Muir Woods Caern on the Marin Peninsula across the bay and a youg man who Crick didn't recognise but who seemed to know Suzie.
The four turned to him as he materialised, the gruff Shadowlord scowling in distain, Susie smiled an expectant look upon her face.
"Saunder's says he needs you on the other side" replied Crick nonchalantly
The five Garou focused on their reflective surfaces and disappeared from Gaias realm.

Saunders turned as they changed from being bright shadows in the penumbra to fully formed beings, he nodded to the Child of Gaia that had joined the pack, all of the assembled werewolves looked skyward taking taking in the fraying ribbon of golden fire and the circling storm clouds above in the spirit realms heavens.
"Hell" breathed Suzie, whilst Shribei muttered about Grandfather Thunder
"We have to get to that area of shoreline, the creatures from the ribbon have landed there" pointed Saunders
"Wyrmlings?" replied Suzie
"I'm pretty sure, they're against Gaias order whatever they are!" he replied
"Good enough, my gifts can carry a few" she replied
"I have faster way" stated Shribei, the rest of the Garou looked at him "I call upon Grand Father Thunder for aid"
"I'll go that way if its quicker" said Saunders, Suzie nodded solemnly
"Hell with it count me" said Crick and the other new comer raised his hand
"Ah good, good" said Shribei gleefully
Suzie and the Child of Gaia shifted to lupus and started to run, as they did their movements seemed to blur and their pace achieved unnatural speed as they raced south across the landscape of the Presidio.
Shribei shifted into his coal black crinos form, a horrifying 8 foot wolf-man who howled at the circling storm clouds above, in answer to his guttural call, a twister emerged from the cloud and reached down to the umbral ground, each of the Garou had shifted to their Crinos forms and braced themselves as the funnel struck the floor filling the air with flotsum.
Then the funnel snatched each werewolf sweeping them up into the air and racing them across the sky as the twister cut a path south across the umbral countryside.

The Crissy Fields - The Presidio of San Francisco
Benedict's undead arcane senses flared in the half mist of the marshy beach he saw figures plummet from the sky, half within this world and half somewhere else.

Suzie and the Gaian had covered several miles in short minutes her gifts propelling their Lupus gallop at supernatural pace, in the spirit realm Shribei howled as the black twister raced across the mirror landscape, the land swept down from the hilly incline of the Presideo's most northerly point to the flatter west shore, a long beach which turned into marshland behind it.

The garou were each encapulsated in a bubble of wind that guarded them from the twisters rage, looking out across the umbra they could see threads and currents of energy and colour weaving through the mists shrouding the marshland, a battle of magics.
Saunder's prepared calling upon his own mystic gifts to ward against these strange or dark powers, however a deep rumbling passed through the circling thunderhead above, Crick warily looked up at the flashes of lightning that lit up the black clouds, his eyes widening as he saw great worm like shapes swim along the discharges.

"SHRIBEI LOOK!" he shouted to the Shadowlord above, however his voice was lost in the storm, he watched as the things snapped and snarled great lamprey like mouths made of etherial flesh and they seemed to be swimming thought the storm after the twister, as they did so the lightning flashed.
"Fuck this" cursed Crick, calling upon his own power he pushed against the storm, for several moments he was beaten back before breaking through the bubble, his efforts released him into the column of the twister itself, he struggled to hold his breath as the swirling force of nature threatened to suffocate him before finally he was ejected out into the open sky "AWWWWWW SHIT" he shouted as he started to tumble towards Gaia.

The Iron Rider and Saunders both watched as their fellow Garou flew out of the twister into the sky then hurtled towards the ground, the Rider looked up seeing the storm creatures, immediately he grabbed the cruxifix around his neck and activated the fetish, his grey fur assuming the hue of steel.
Drawing his sidearms he fired into the twister blowing a hole through and launched himself away from its grasp, Saunders pushed against the storm he could feel the spirit forms sliver through the clouds above, one of them reaching the twisters spout where it extended from the Thunderhead, lighting weaving around its ghostly grey form.

Looking down Shribei snarled watching the two garou plummet towards the marshes below, he saw the Theurge frantically claw at the winds and then looked up as the huge spectral lamprey mouth hundreds of feet above roared at the top of the column, he raised his Klaive in defence as the monster spat surging lightning down the storm column the blade shining with white het as his forearm burst into flames.
Saunders roared in pain, his entire form igniting in white fire, there was a loud pop as his smoking form was spat from the twister, the Shadowlord howled, rage surging through him as his fur turned from black to white the lightning running off him, with another roar he sent his own bolt of lightning from his Klaive back at the creature then with a punch of his arm a thunderclap exploded upwards destroying the twisters spout.

Folding his arms tightly beside him, the Iron Rider dropped like a stone or rather lump of metal quickly reaching the flailing Crick, he grabbed the other crinos barking to hang on as both of them plummeted down towards one of the large ponds that made up the marsh.
Still snarling Stribei dropped tens of feet before a flock of crows swooped out of the umbral winds sinking their claws into his fur and carrying him to the ground, as he glided down he watched a limp black smoking form tumble through the collasping ribbon of golden fire before disappearing from view.

He cared not, his beast was loose he snapped and bit at the crows who simply stayed out of reach before unceremoniously depositing him in a pool of dank water.

Towards the sea stood on the Dunes marking the border between the beach and the marsh, Benedict staggered as he a half shape blew into him, the air popped followed by invisible spectral winds buffeting him, curiously the fog was undistrurbed and appeared calm.

The Crissy Fields - The Presidio of San Francisco
Trailing the twister Suzie watched events unfold she howled in rage as she saw Saunders charred form collide with the collasping fire ribbon and disintegrate in a cloud of sparks, to her right toward the beach she saw the Iron Rider and Crick slam into one of the marsh ponds, the sound of impact like a cannon going off.

She saw the figures that had fallen or jumped from the fire ribbon had landed but she had only one quarry, before her Child of Gaia companion could stop her she had channelled her beast and thundered off towards where a flock of crows had dropped a figure in a pool.
As she charged she painfully shifted from her normal wolf form to her great dire wolf or hispro form, slamming into the Shadowlord as he emergedfrom of the water roaring, her charge lifted him off his feet and despite his still being in crinos sent him crashing into the sand and reeds some twenty feet away.

As she continued her charge she forced her change again assuming crinos form, her fur the colour of steel, teeth and claws her signature gold whilst her right fist had reshaped into a spherical golden mace.
Shirbei shook the impact from his great wolfen head, his fur now a dull white he roared and pushed himself to his feet, but propelled by rage Suzie pressed her attack, her clawed left hand slashing across his upper leg whilst her mace hand crashed down onto his left shoulder, the Lord staggered under the blow.
She could feel exhaustion slow her, she had called on both her spiritual reserves and heavily on the beast, it was taking its toll, she pushed again summoning the last scraps of rage and as he staggered, smashed the mace into the side of his head, sending him crashing back to the floor.
The big eastern european blinked the last blow had shaken the beast and ended his frenzy, blood pouring from his head he slowly climbed to his feet, she stood panting barely in control "YOU SHADOWLORD FUCK, TREACHEROUS BASTARD, YOU KILLED OUR THEURGE"
"YOU CHALLENGE ME, YOU CRAZY BITCH!" bellowed Shribei
"I DON'T NEED TO CHALLENGE YOU DUMB FUCK, I HAVE RANK"
"FOR NOW MONKEY LOVER, FOR NOW, SHRIBEI TAKE RANK WHEN ITS TIME!"
The duel of words was brought to an abrupt stop as a cloud of black shards wove through the fog, like a swarm of bees, both garou staggered as despite their defences the shards struck them tearing chunks and leaving deep lacerations across their bodies.

Across the marshland the Iron Rider and Crick hit the large pond hard, the sound was earsplitting, miraculously their combination of protective gifts and crinos resilience absorbed the bone crushing impact, both surfaced from the murky water gasping for air, the Rider spotted the two garou fighting and then the swarm of darts strike them both.
Bone fractures across his body popped and clicked, cuts sealed shut and bruises faded away as his powers of regeneration healed him in moments, he allowed himself to shift down to the near human glabro form which maintained his healing but gave him access to his tool, he clenched his teeth as he stood stiffly and drew his pistol.
His long coat having reappeared with his change, he took a clockwork tube from an inner pocket and clicked the contraption onto the guns barrel at which point it rotated, parts moving on its surface before it had extended the pistol into a rifle.
Crick stood his healing have similarly recovering him "Neat trick" he growled
The Rider propped the gun over the crook of his left arm, sighted up using the scope and fired off three rounds in quick succession, Crick smiled as the fog opened up and the wielder of the darts staggered and was then collapsed in a great cloud of blood.
Crick spat out four inch long claws and blood as he pulled his deformed nails from his furry hand with his fangs, ignoring the pain he grinned at the sight of the assassin go down, he shifted to his hispro form, activated his gifts and broke into a loped run of blinding speed towards the attackers.

Mission San Francisco de Asis, The North Point - The Witching Hour.
The lobby was filled with smoke, Major Patrick James O'Dowd's vision swam, he was on the verge of passing out, he passed his hand over his dragoon, his eyes watered and ears rang, his power was muted now, a mere spark.

Watching the smoke he saw a figure stagger from the smoke and fired again, his energy waned, fizzlingly out across the pistols frame, the Oghram glyphs fading, fanning the gun he sent rounds into the figure knocking it backwards, the firing stopped it staggered forwards again.
Having resumed her immortal humanoid form Tan Zhi's body was broken, missing great chunks of flesh, ragged shreds and strands of sinew hung from the holes, her skin fiery orange, musky steam rising from her form.
Behind her the Bone Flower struggled to regain his footing, slipping around amongst the gore trying to pull himself up the wall.

Her Yang Chi churned mixing with her yin, fighting to rebuild her body as the smoke cleared she spied the mortal and snarled, her mouth filled with fangs reminescent of an angler fish, the mortal fired again his rounds thudding into her flesh but lacking the potency of his previous ire, she advanced upon him.

Miss Ives chant reverburated through the Mission, O'Dowd winced pain shooting through his sinuses and teeth, Thomas Riley jolted awake and staggered to his feet, his temples throbbed with searing pain, his ears filled with the chant.
Tan Zhi staggered back as the wave of sound struck her, emerging from the shadows Corporal Perrin struck sinking his hunting dagger into the the Bone Flowers kneck, it shuddering and slid back down the wall before disappearing into the spirit realms with a swirl of black entropic energy, the Devil Tigers attention still on the kneeling mortal she pushed forwards she would kill all of the audacious laowai starting with this one.

Riley hoisted his long rifle swinging it over the baluster and fired, his first shot missed he quickly reloaded, aimed and fired the shot burst down through the beasts chest and out through her arse, O'Dowd steeled his will, the chant resonated through him, he passed his hand over his pistol a white light illumated the glyphs this time.

Tan Zhi snarled as the mortal raised his weapon, willing herself, she allowed the Yang World to take her and vanished into the spirit realm, O'Dowd breathed a sigh of relief as Miss Ives chanting stopped, exhaustion flooding through his body.

San Francisco Old City Hall, Market Street.
The famous bay fog crept throughout the winding wooden streets lined before approaching the civic square situated on Market Street, the commercial north east side marked by the government and business built of imported stone.

The figures moved swiftly but silently, their bodies blending with the fog and mist, as they flitted like ghosts across the lawns of city hall and leaping like grasshoppers up onto the lower levels, up onto the east wings roof and quickly along into an open window.

They moved cautiously navigating the quiet empty hallways, each drawing a cold black blade from within their flesh, approaching a stone staircase which rose to a square landing, further branching into stone stairs ascending to blaconies both left and right.

A gunshot broke the silence the third and last of their number staggered, the shot destoying the back of his skull, a second shot tearing his face out from behind, there was a rush of wind as the remaining two looked for the source of the attack, scanning the balconies to the rear above them.
They turned to see a figure float down before them appearing from the gloom of the staircases elavated ceiling, their attacking surge immediately arrested by twin dragoons, both shot in the forehead.
As each staggered and stumbled back down the stairs, the figure having now floated down to the landing recocked his revolvers aimed and shot the intruders right knee's, he repeated the exercise hobbling their left legs for good measure.

The two assailants writhed in agony on the cold stone, the figure walked past them as lanterns illuminated the darkness, casting flickering silhouettes on the Beaux-arts architecture, his men appeared from the ground floor and upper levels.

Prince Vannavar Thomas coldly regarded the two figures as they were skewered with wooden spears, bound with chains and then a ribbon of oriental text pinned to their foreheads, the last measure instructions from their warlock.

His most senior retainer stood awaiting instruction, taking care not to stand in the oily black blood that covered the stairs he regarded the mess of the third "Burn it to ash and gather the remains once complete, the other two as per Wong's strict instructions", Police Inspector Patrick Dullea nodded and issued orders to his men.

The Crissy Fields - The Presidio of San Francisco
The two big Crinos staggered as the black shards, as hard as steel and as cold as permafrost carved out pieces of flesh, fur and sinew from their forms.
Already near exhaustion Suzie dropped to her knees, Shribei wobbled but kept himself standing, stumbling towards the Iron Rider, however before he got within a couple of yards of her a form sprang in front of him.

He stretched himself to his full crinos height, at eight feet tall he towered over the lithe girl before him, dressed in a tan hide waistcoat, riding britches, leather boots and a shawl wrapped around her head, he recognised the Child of Gaia that had joined them just before they had set off from the North Point.
She looked small and as if concious of this she shifted to her glabro form gaining around a hundred pounds of flesh, her pretty features distorted by heavy bones, fur lining her jaw, large pointed ears and a mouth the full of fangs, still a peace maker was little in the way of a challenge to a Carpathian Garou.

Stribei had mere moments to regret that thought, faster than he could see the girls quarterstaff swung first into his left knee then his right, she effortlessly ducked under the flailing swing of his monsterous clawed arm, her sweeping moves motion sliding the staff through her hands so that she held its end, completing the pivoting motion she allowed it to continue its forward motion jabbing him in the throat.
The big shadowlord attempted a roar but it came out like a cracked yelp, the girl balletically courteseyed spinning the staff behind her shoulder and then jabbed down between his legs, leaning to the right twisting his legs which pinned the back of his left calve and his right shin against the staff, as if activating a railtrack switch she levered the staff forwards and send the big crinos crashing to the floor.

The girl stood back watching as Stribei thrashed around in pain and shock on the ground, she stepped back to Suzie, having returned to her human form and placed her hand on the Iron Riders shoulder, grabbing a handful of metallic grey fur, she concentrated calling upon Father Bear and felt her spirit power seep down through the fur.
Suzie coughed, despite her wounds being supernatural she felt an flare of heat ignite in each tear as they sealed over and began to heal.
Stribei rose, a deep growl rising from deep within this chest, the child of gaia stepped forward again, the shadowlord charged his remaining rage surging through him, the Child of Gaia Audrey Carnell allowed her own rage to flow, usually carefully kept wrapped within her as per the teachings, she channeled it.

In a single motion her rage had shifted her to crinos form, the complete opposite of the shadowlord a creamy white compared to his charcoal black, the staff had remained with her despite normally vanishing with the change, her rage still flowed into her Full Moon gifts as she blurred towards Stribei meeting his charge head on, as the two of them met she landed just off to his left bringing the staff now carried in a single hand around.

The blow struck Stribei across his chest, the force sounding like a crack of thunder, his ribs and sternun fractured with the impact, flinging him five or six yards into the grasslands reeds, where he emitted a wheezing howl of agony, his bones and flesh slowly begining to reknit.
Despite being a good foot shorter than him in werewolf form Audrey stepped over the broken Lord glaring at him with hard Amber eyes "Stay down" she snarled.

The Crissy Fields - The Presidio of San Francisco
Bereft of his malformed claws Crick loped across the marshlands, he willed his gifts awake his running speed becoming prodigious whilst he seemed to blur or wink out of sight.
Closing upon the first of the mysterious figures he pounced sinking his fangs into its throat and bringing the man down, flinging the body from side to side, its blood and flesh tasted foul, shifting to glabro form he hocked and cleared his mouth.

Other figures ran through the fog, their forms indistinct ghost like monsterous shapes, gunshots rang out sttiking the figures the shootists aim apparently not affected by the bay mists, as they struggled with he onslaught Crick crouched down snatching up a handful of twigs watching as they burst into flames in his hand.
He drew his battered hip flask with his other hand shaking it to mix the contents, keeping an eye on the figures as they started to get back up, flipping the flasks stopper wtih this thumb he concentrated and spat into the vessel.
One of the figures seemed to spy him through the fog elliciting an inhuman screech, a wave of fear washed across him stirring his rage, Crick choked it down instead taking a big swig, he spat a spray of the horrid concoction through his fistful of flames into the fog.

The water vapour seemed to recoil from the flickering blue flames as it ignited into a ball of fire a distinctly chemical aroma to it not unlike pure chemical alcohol, Crick's eyes widened as the fireball expanded and rolled back towards him "Awww shit" he shrieked diving into the marsh mud.
The three creatures were momentarily exposed as the fog appearing almost alive fled the fire, through narrowed eyes he saw that they were each different but all appearing like demons from the pit, one an inhumanly tall white deathly looking thing, another resembling a humanoid crab whilst the third one a monsterous flightless bird.

Each were consumed by the fiery ball which quickly incinerated the reeds and marsh, the Shootist watched the fog recoil and his targets light up in flames, his line of sight clear the uttered a slight growl his rage flowing into his firing iron and transfering his claws to the chambered bullets, he recommenced firing.
Crick watched as great chunks of monsterous flesh were torn from the creatures bodies, blinking his eyes to clear the acrid smoke from the scorched marsh he made a curious clicking noise, one of the creatures had been destroyed, the white things head and upper body completely blown into nothing more than bloody chunks, in response to the noise he smiled as the two remaining seemed to sweat a yellow sticky residue.

No sooner than this had appeared every bug and species of vermin took to the air or wove their way through the charred ground swarming over the creatures, the bird thing awkwardly got back onto its feet before awkwardly shifting to what might have been a more human form, it was hard for Crick to tell now that it was covered from head to toe in bugs.
Wobbling its regaining its footing was shortlived as its left arm was blown from its body, then its head vanished and great holes punched through its body, Crick shifted assuming his ragidly patchwork fur crinos, he bounded over the short distance to the crab creature as it rolled onto all fours he leapt bringing his full seven feet of mass crashing down onto its back, raising his good hand he swung downwards his claws smashing through the carapace on the back of its neck, he continued clawing until its head was removed, standing over the body he released a howl of victory.

The Crissy Fields - The Presidio of San Francisco
The Fog slowly began to recede, repeating back to the ocean the remaining ghostly figures quickly retreated as Crick threw razor sharp stones at them, his distance and accuracy uncannily accurate whilst rifle fire echoed across the marsh, before long they had vanished.

Suzi now significantly healed caught up with the Bone Gnawer, she spotted the charred marsh and frowned, noting the Shootist strolling through the trailing wisps of mist, returning her gaze to Crick she looked at the ground pointedly.
The Gnawer shrugged his shoulders and cocked his head to one side "Com'mon give me a break, all part of the cycle it'll regrow more fertile"
Suzi scowled "Not exactly treating the mothers body as a temple" she admonisted
"But it took the monsters who wounded you down" he grinned
She frowned again but there was little arguing with that, if Crick and the Shootist hadn't dealt with the attackers whilst she and Stribei duelled, she'd likely be rotting in the marsh "Thank you Mr Crick, you have my gratitude"
the Shootist smiled and nodded to Crick, who finding himself liking the young, quite Iron Rider smiled and nodded back.
'Suggest we get some rest and then we must make the Caren by tomorrow evening" Suzi stated.

****
Alemeda Island, Oakland.
The Island was some 7 miles long by 5 miles deep, the northern half a spawling shipping yard and port with the east port serving oakland, whilst the west serving larger ships navigating San Francisco Bay.
What may have surprised people was that the entire Northern half was owned by the Southern Ocean Trading Company, whilst the south filled with factories and cheap housing was owned by a myriad of owners, who all in turn were owned by the Southern Ocean Trading Company.
The company registered in New York was itself owned by an Originally English Company named the South Sea Company, founded in 1711, the very company that in 1720 had very nearly bankrupted the British Economy in what would be called The South Sea Bubble.

On the Northern end of the Ship Yard stood a large estate surrounded by an old Spanish fortress wall, the thick fortification protecting its coastal sides and shutting the rest of the island out, with the enclave as a sprawling manor house as well as a small town.

Two figures stood in the lamphouse of the the Islands Northern Lighthouse 'La Linterna del Diablo', looking into a concave screen that was attached to the back of the great lanterns, its beams travelling out through the night fog.
The first man was of average height for the age, a mane of sandy hair cut to his high collar accompanied by thick sideburns, he wore a dark tan longcoat with a suit beneath, elements of tartan indicating possible celtic roots.

The second man was taller, very heavily built for his people they being Chinese, his shaven head criss-crossed with brutal scars stretching the side of his face and skull, both watched images in the mirror, images of wolf men and other monsters.
The first man scoffed "Aye well the lupines have acquitted themselves, just" he chided in a thick scots brogue turning and smiling at the oriental who merely looked on unimpressed.
The big chinaman did not welcome these visits, they were quite literally a necessary evil, the place stank of demon chi "The wolves are of no concern" he stated coldly a distinct air of menace in his voice.

The scotmans smile had not left his face, "You say that, but they are like vermin, crop up in the most unpleasant of places, killing innocent folk, maiming women and children, wretched things, bygone beasts best put in the ground every last one of them!"
The Chinaman noted that the Scotsmans smile was gone, his face now dark and brooding "You're message said that you have found the father?"
The Scotsman's smile returned "Yes, my hunters had a stroke of luck"
"I would see him quickly" replied the chinaman
"All in good time, my bonny chap, a deals a deal after all!"

Beneath the offices of Diablo Valley Undertakers - Juniper Street
The hilly Peninsula upon which the city of San Fransisco was built was made up of unusual bedrock of red, green, gray, black, blue, yellow, and brown rocks called the Franciscan, below the ground the territoiry was riddled with caves and fissures created by frequent tremors from nearby fault lines.

Below the cellar that functioned as a crypt for the funeral home above, lay one such set of caves, the Franciscan in the walls creating a Kaleidoscope of colours, the largest cave had been laid out as a traditional Taoist ceremonial space, the floor paved with tiles denoting the Ying, Yang and hell orientations converging upon heaven, in the centre.

The New Promise Mandarates leaders sat within their respective orientations, it had been a difficult task to get the ruling Dharmas of the Blood and Flesh Courts to agree to work together and volunteer Wu for the endevour and only the accompanyment of an Ancestor from the Gold Court had prevented machinations or open warfare from breaking out.

However that was not to say that the collected Wu were on friendly terms, quite the opposite each Dharma held opposing tradition in gaining Heavens forgiveness, some denied seeking the blessing of the celestial emperor and then the Wu themselves had their own goals.
Their purpose was simple the Middle Kingdom was beset by the influence of invading colonial Shen and civil war that was sending thousands to the afterlives, whilst the ruling Golden Court struggled to repel the invaders and defend themselves against the warfare, the Mandarate was to explore new territory could its territiry and chi be claimed for the Courts, even used against the foreign and internal foes of the Courts.

The past few days had been bloody, whilst the Mandarate shought to use the Scarlet Screens to effect peaceful takeover of the key locations, due to its prominent location within the Ring of Fire the peninsula was contested by multiple Shen both native and colonial.
The city for all its pretense of civilisation was lawless, a wilderness where life was without cost even the lives of immortals and the Shen both living and dead ready to resort to tooth and claw without any respect for decorum, propriety or rules.

The destruction of several running monkeys was to be expected, the one thing the civil war provided were more souls dragging themselves back from Yomi, however the mandarates forces total destruction would result in an unacceptable loss of face, for an endeavour that was already derided as foolishness in the face of such great troubles in the Middle Kingdom itself.

Beneath the offices of Diablo Valley Undertakers - Juniper Street
The Ancestor stirred from her meditation, the Mandarins waiting until she had returned, her eyes were inverted the sclera being completely black whilst the pupils white, a faint blue mist rose from her form.
"Our progress has been slow" she stated, directed at a male upon the heavenly correspondence, Zhu Fu Jing the leader of the Resplendent Cranes school, he nodded but remained silent
The Wan Kuei sat cross-legged within the Hell correspondance snarled, her skin as white as pure snow, a main of black and orange hair rising from her scalp as well as her jaw line, her mouth full of row upon row of fangs, her nose almost non-existent instead two and eyes those of a feline, she was a visage of a demonic tiger.

If one of the Ten Thousand Demons personified their scholl it was Zhu Sǐwáng zhǎo, a Devil Tiger and her ascent from Yomi had crafted her to resemble a Demon Tiger made flesh "The Kin-Jin were aided by Hengeyokai and the mission protected by celestial forces, how did you not know of this!" she spat
The Ancestor looked on as Zhu Fu Jing breathed out "It is unlikely the Hengeyokai were aiding the Kin-Jin, it is no surprise that there are so may here due to the great Dragon Lines being so powerful, after all we all know they seek them above all else"
A look from the Ancestor silenced Zhu Sǐwáng zhǎo who's face was contorted in anger, Fu Jing continued "Nothing within the Pictograms foresaw the missions power, however the failure of your Jina against mere mortals is disappointing" he said with a faint smile
"That said our efforts in the East of the city were more fruitful, these places are in the hands of mortals they will soon be ours" interjected Zhu Xun Yi of the Thrashing Dragons
"Apart from the Fishing Village Well" hissed Zhu Sǐwáng zhǎo "We cannot afford the kin-jin to hold the site"

"Agreed" said the Ancestor
The Devil Tiger elder nodded "We must attack it with force, release our Bakemono"
Zhu Fu Jing's eyes widened, it was Zhu Xun Yi's turn to grow angry "Your use of demon spawn is barely permissable within your divine mandate, not to further the aims of this court, to do so would risk drawing the attention of the Yama KIngs"
Sǐwáng zhǎo laughed, a harsh rasping noise "Your naivity surprises even I at times and we are the closest in creed, the Yama Kings are already here do you not feel them, why do you think the Howling Devil Tigers of The Black Iron Talons even agreed to this enterprise" her lips curled into a snarl "The Kin-Jin holding the well must be destroyed and any Shen who aid them slaughtered in the mud"
The Ancestor breathed out loudly a noise that sounded like wind flowing through the caves "Zhu Xun Yi's point is valid, if the Yama Kings seek the Bay of Fire our efforts should not feed their efforts, however Zhu Sǐwáng zhǎo is also correct the well must be taken" she turned to the fourth of the Wan Kuei Lords "Rouse the Jiangshi and prepare the Xíngshīzǒuròu"
The Bone Shadow Lord nodded in agreement
