The gradient of the tunnel seems to change suddenly, Drake shoots onto his arse and flies off down the tunnel, bumping along the way, while Curren seems to float off the tunnel floor and races after the falling Gnome.

"Ouch! Arse! Feck!" shouts Drake in surprise as he slides down the tunnel. It takes him a few moments to come to his senses and casts a levitate spell upon the numerous bits of metal surrounding him.

Once stabilised Drake will extend his senses once more, tracing the tunnel ahead in his mind. How far does it extend, are there any corridors coming off it, and can he sense the end?

'Hang on fella!'

Curren curses under his breath about the unpredictability of gnomes as he scrambles to catch up with him.

How bad are my injuries?

The pair floating to a steady halt, taking a moment to examine their wounds Curren realises that he has a deep cut upon his left arm, while Drake has a number of smaller abrasions.

Curren has two blocks of physical, while Drake has 2 blocks of stun.

Floating down the remainder of the passage, this opens into a large cylindrical chamber, a series of geometric, mathematical circuit boards lines every square foot of the cylinder.

Drake drops his levitate spell and touches down on the floor, also mapped out with mathematical looking circuits.

He glances over to Curren, "Somehow I wasn't expecting this..." he says before turning his attention back to the circuit boards.

"You keep an eye out for them damn monkeys skipper, I'll have a butcher's at these markings then we can swap. I don't think they'll follow us down here, I think they were guarding the entrance... But I have known to be wrong!"
