Drake will investigate the cylinder, now that he knows the controls do something he will investigate the cylinder itself, to see if it needs to move, twist, break, or whatever.

Stepping into the cylinder Drake is able to recognise the workings, linking to the mathematics and chemical symbols he is confident that he can control the cylinder and its descent.

Drake will wait until Curren is safely on the cylinder, then try and make it go...

The cylinder suddenly rotates at velocity and descends, seemingly prepared for this Francis Drake once again levitates which absorbs the unwanted inertia, he loses track of Curren's success in this regard.

The cylinder hurtles down, hearts and guts are firmly in the travellers mouths as they suddenly stop, the cylinder rotating slowly to allow departure.

Before Drake and Curren stannds what appears to be a subterrean city, one made of impossibly twisted towers ascending up to the cavernous roof.
Shuddering the pair notice that the inhabitants of said said seem to have a distinctly insectoid appearance.

Drake moves closer to Curren.
"You, er, seem to have been on a few of these quests. Any idea what kind of quest this is? The last one I was on involved some sort of battle quest... I don't fancy our chances much! I mean, bugs!!! Again!!! What are we meant to do!?"
Are there any markings, languages, signs down here? Anything that might indicate a link to the Gaggle-whatsit?

Also what is the level of metalness down here. Any metal in the construction of the buildings, or are they biological? Any metal at all down here?
